Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve

Located in Saptari and Sunsari districts in eastern Nepal, the Koshi Tappu Safari covers the vast expanse Koshi River with its blue waters and lush jungle areas on both sides.  It is considered as the major attraction of the safari. The forest is the homeland of wild buffaloes, hog deer, wild boar, spotted deer, blue bell and jackals. The vegetation of this area is mainly tall khar-pater grassland with a few patches of Khair-sissoo scrub forest and deciduous mixed river line jungle.

Bardiya National Park Safari

Although not as famous as the Chitwan Park, but preferred destination for some to visit Bardiya National Park on the western Nepal because of the latter’s truly wild settings. For Bardiya, you need to fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj & then head toward the Park on a jeep or bus. The roadway from Kathmandu to Bardiya takes almost one whole day to cross which many find rather boring. Bardiya is also a tropical park sharing its habitat with the Indian jungles & their beasts. You will find fascinating Asamese Wild Bulls and Elephants during the safari on a native elephants.

Chitwan National Park

The Park lies on the center of the country, Chitwan, which is also the junction for separating the eastern highway from the western highway of Nepal.
