Cultural Glimpse of Nepal -3Days


Day 01
After your arrival, one of our guides will come to the airport to receive you and he will take you to hotel where you will get his assistance in check-in procedures. After check in procedure, before you proceed to the room, our guide makes a short briefing about your tour program for the following days. Practically, the first day is free but there is an option for you to go to the city center or stroll around the hotel. Overnight, you will stay in the hotel at Kathmandu.


Day 02
For half a day, we organize the sightseeing to the Stupa of Swyambhunath which is 2000 year old and situated on the hilltop. It gives the glimpse of Buddhism, the valley of Kathmandu and the unique architecture of this kind. The Stupa area is also popularly known as the monkey temple among the foreigners. We proceed to the Durbar Square of Kathmandu which is the hub of the capital and an old residence of royal family of Nepal during the medieval period. In Durbar Square, we visit the House of Living Goddess, the pagoda of the wood of single tree, the Hippy Temple, the Freekstreet, Shiva Parvati Temple, temple of the goddess Taleju, the Golden Gate of the former palace, etc. The square is itself a wonder of beautiful artwork and woodcarving, as well as the colorful social and culture life. We will further proceed to the marketplace of Kathmandu of the medieval style to Indra-Chowk and Ason where you can see hundreds of shops with some typical articles including crystal beads, spices, incense, organic veg-shops, beans scattered on sideways of the market.


Afternoon, we will visit the city of fine arts and beauty known as a Patan or Lalitpur. We will have the lunch either in Kathmandu or Patan which depends on our timing and after the lunch, we will visit the Patan city. In Patan city, there are innumerable number of monasteries, courtyard, temples, pagodas, Shikharas, Bahals, the shops of artworks, fabrics and woodcarvings. Finally, today we proceed to the temple of Pashupatinath which is the biggest pilgrimage site of Hindus of the world. The temple lies on the bank of holy river Bagmati where we can also observe the Hindu way of cremation.


Day 03
The morning time is free and we will proceed to the airport for your final destination as per your flight time.
