Everest Base Camp

The best trekking season in Nepal is from October to November just after the monsoon. During this period, the visibility will be clear and the weather is also mild. March is also the next best season. Trekking can be done during December, January and February, but it can get very cold particularly at night at higher altitudes. April and May are also good months for high altitude treks. Trekking is not advisable between mid-June and early September when the monsoon rains make the trail slippery and leeches come out to make walking miserable. Some travelers do trek it even at this season. During monsoon time, it does not mean that it will rain every day. Besides, some of the most frequented trails will not be crowded and some people like it that way. It can actually be enjoyed in the upper part of the Anna puma Circuit around Marfa, Jomosom and Muktinath, as the monsoon does not get in this Trans-Himalayan area.

Travelling to the through the villages of Himalaya region is quite an exciting activity in your life time. Though, we are talking cycling, kayaking and walking rather than rock climbing or paragliding, etc. We will leave the extreme sports to the experts, but our active trips with you offer real life experiences, combining a challenging day’s hike, say, with a night’s stay in a hill tribe village. You don’t need to be super fit for all your active trips, but they’re ideal if you want a physical challenge along with plenty of cultural interaction with these people with different culture, history and the background.
